Praveen Jesudhas

Praveen Jesudhas has 13+ years of experience in utilizing Data science aligned with technology
developments to add client value across services and product organizations.
Upon completing his Master's dissertation on Neural network algorithm optimization in 2010, he
developed vehicle tracking algorithms on aerial imagery utilizing particle filters at FastVDO,
Maryland, USA. He then went on to work as a research engineer at eGrabber, where his work
centered around building domain-specific Name entity recognition systems and information
extraction from the web using a combination of NLP and Ontology-based systems.
Praveen has been with Tiger for seven years now. And during his time here, Praveen has played a
vital role in solving several client problems across domains such as Insurance, Manufacturing, Sports
Analytics, Adtech, and social media. These client engagements generally involved the utilization of
varied Data science-based methodologies. Some of these are – Generalized linear models for
Regression and classification, LSTM and ARIMA-based models for Time series forecasting
requirements, Deep neural nets for a variety of Computer vision-related tasks, 3D scan processing
for customized manufacturing, drift monitoring metrics along with MLOPS for serving, and
monitoring machine learning models in production.
In his current role at Tiger, Praveen heads the computer vision Centre Of Excellence, where he
focuses on enhancing capabilities to better execute computer vision-based client engagements at
Tiger.
