With 14 years of industry experience, including over 7 years in the Data Science domain, he currently serves as the General Manager Data Scientist at Michelin India Pvt. Ltd., where he leads applied AI research for industrial applications.
Gaurav’s expertise spans multiple cutting-edge areas, including Deep Reinforcement Learning, the use of generative models for data augmentation and innovative design, and the application of machine learning and computer vision for road safety analysis. His contributions to the field are well-recognized, with 3 patents and 5 publications in areas such as Generative AI (GAN, design topology), reinforcement learning, and optimization.
Before his Data Science career, Gaurav gained valuable experience in Vehicle Crash Simulations and Design at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development.
