CEO & MD of HSBC’s SDI legal entity in India and its lead local board member. GCC Head of HSBC’s Technology Centres in India and also the Bank’s global responsible executive for all technology resourcing partnerships worldwide. In an earlier stint was the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) of HSBC Group’s Data & Analytics Technology (GDT) function. In the GCC CEO role for the India technology centres, the primary responsibilities include making major corporate decisions impacting the technology legal entity in India relating to finances, people, processes & legal matters; managing the overall operations and staff in India and acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors of the HSDI legal entity and company operations. Also being the public face of the HSDI legal entity in the country. The CIO role led a global team spread across various parts of the world (Argentina, Canada, Mainland China, Dubai, France, India, Hong Kong, Mexico, Poland, Turkey, UK & US) and helped deliver the data ambitions and the strategic data technology roadmap of the bank. Role spanned all the group functions and various banking businesses of the HSBC banking group globally along with its regional banking entities.
