Pavan Nanjundaiah

An expert in the AI field, Pavan brings nearly two decades of data science, data engineering, product and leadership experience across various domains including retail, CPG, technology and industrials. He built the Products team for Tredence, a leading AI/data science consulting company, with a vision to solve data science and analytics problems with cutting-edge accelerators and products. The lead Data Scientist in his team, Pavan has scaled the team from scratch to 75 members. He and his team have built multiple machine learning-based accelerators and products in the space of MLOps, explainability and bias detection, data quality/harmonization, customer experience analytics, trade promotion optimization for the CPG industry and more. Products built by Pavan’s team are deployed across multiple Fortune 500 clients. For instance, Pavan’s team deployed their Trade Promotion Optimization solution along with the MLOps product for a Fortune 100 CPG client. This solution is currently being successfully used across 13 countries, impacting an overall budget of $300 million, uses 1.5 million SKU combinations and manages 66,000 machine learning models in production. Pavan’s team is now working on building a data science co-innovation platform to partner with Tredence clients and fast-track the journey from requirements to deployable solutions.
