Dr. Saurabh Pramanick is a distinguished Data Governance Officer at Bank Muscat, where he spearheads data-centric initiatives to future-proof the bank. His work focuses on enhancing capabilities in data governance, privacy, self-service analytics, and data science.
Dr. Pramanick’s career includes a series of impactful leadership roles. He has served as the Head of Data for Debit Cards at Morgan Stanley, Data Governance Lead at Hexaware Technologies (collaborating with the London Stock Exchange), and Principal Consultant for financial services clients in data analytics and governance. His experience extends to serving as a Technical Product Consultant for regulatory reporting at institutions such as Wolters Kluwer, JP Morgan, Bank of Tokyo, Scotia Bank, and ING. Across these roles, he has consistently driven the success of high-stakes programs with innovative, hands-on leadership.
Beyond his corporate endeavors, Dr. Pramanick has worked closely with Big Four consulting firms (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG) and leading IT service companies (Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Wipro). He has also contributed to data-driven programs for Tredence, Tiger Analytics, and prominent business schools across India.
Dr. Pramanick’s achievements have been widely recognized. He was named one of AIM’s Top 40 Under 40 Data Scientists (2024), Data Engineer of the Year (2024), and recipient of the Big Data Practitioner of the Year Award by Big Data Framework.
