Madhusudanan Kandasamy

Madhusudanan Kandasamy is leading Artificial Intelligence Software Development Group at Qualcomm India private Ltd. His team develops software for optimizing deep learning inference on snapdragon chipsets for mobile, compute, auto and IoT use cases. In recent times, they are focus on optimizing large GEN-AI models to run on edge devices. He has more than two decades of industry experience across Artificial Intelligence, Distributed ML/DL framework, Big Data Processing and Unix/Linux Operating System Development. Earlier at IBM he worked on developing distributed machine learning software for multi-node CPU-GPU cluster to reduce the training time. On the OS domain, he developed Lock-free memory allocators(malloc subsystem for OS), many UNIX/Linux Kernel features and System Call Optimization. He also has 20+ patent grants and many research disclosures under his name.
