Vivek Gupta is the Chief Technology Officer at CoinDCX, India’s largest crypto exchange. Vivek leads CoinDCX’s technology team with a firm focus on strengthening CoinDCX’s product experience, while continually ensuring that the platform remains reliable, secure and seamless for its end users. He is a firm believer of technology and the critical need for tech to be built transparently and simply. With this mission in mind, he spearheaded the technology and product development for Okto, a self-custody DeFi wallet which is now available in over 60 countries.
Over the span of his career, Vivek has worked with multiple startups across different sectors, including fintech, e-commerce and social commerce. Vivek has extensive experience in product engineering, technology, and innovation, as well as scaling solutions for growth.
Vivek is also a technologist at heart, and believes in crypto’s eventual proliferation across the globe, much like how the internet grew exponentially during the Web 2.0 era. To this end, Vivek is committed to harnessing his expertise in technology to make crypto safe and accessible to all.
