Currently, I am working as Head – Enterprise Analytics, Tesco Business Services. This is a multifunctional role which involves leading analytics & data science leaders & team working on Customer Analytics, Channel Analytics, fraud prevention analytics and strategic initiatives for CXOs priorities for Tesco business
With close to 18+ years of experience in analytics & data science predominantly focusing on retail, consumer goods, pharma and financial. I started retail analytics journey in 2008 and focussed on understanding what really matters to customers and how same can shape win-win strategies for Retailers and Customers. I spent time with Europe and Asian retailers to set their price policies and improve their trade investments. Subsequently, I partnered with multiple retailers across regions and operated from India, Europe and APAC countries / regions.
Before joining Tesco, I was with dunnhumby where I played multiple leadership roles as Director of Customer Insights, Head of Price & Promotions & Global Head of Tesco UK & ROI data science teams across geographies (UK, ROI and India). During my dunnhumby role, I also did two year stint at Shanghai as Head of Analytics at dunnhumby China, where I played strategic role in in setting up the analytics team for one of the biggest Chinese retailers and led the data science team for the retailer.
