Kumar Abhishek

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for Expedia, Kumar is leading fraud detection and prevention efforts. He uses machine learning and Natural Language Processing models for risk analysis and fraud detection for various Expedia brands. Additionally, Kumar is personally responsible for designing and implementing several highly effective efficiency measures, including recording low latency and heavily optimizing the machine learning pipeline. Previously, he worked for Microsoft on Cortana, the AI virtual assistant for Windows 10 and surface devices. Kumar has an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Florida, U.S., and a bachelor’s from NIT Trichy.
