Alok Sharma is Head of Data Platform and Security at Meesho, leading teams across Data Platform, Experimentation Platform, Messaging Platform, Segmentation Platform, Security and Compliance. His work focuses on enabling Meesho to operate as
a deeply data-driven organization while strengthening the security posture across applications, data, and infrastructure. At Meesho, Alok’s teams build the platforms that enable faster innovation and smarter decision-making across the marketplace. Their work helps teams test ideas quickly, deliver more personalized experiences, and use data confidently, while ensuring the platform remains secure and reliable at scale. Alok is known for building and scaling consumer internet and e-commerce platforms, combining strong business understanding with engineering leadership. He also brings deep experience in building secure, reliable systems at scale Prior to Meesho, Alok was Co-founder and CTO at BigPhi/Turms, where he helped build and scale a consumer brand and a healthtech platform from the ground up. Earlier, he worked at companies like Quikr, Intel and McAfee, building large-scale consumer and security systems. Alok holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Allahabad. Outside work, he enjoys reading non-fiction and staying active through swimming, cycling, and hiking.
