Chaitali Deb Purkayastha is an Associate Director at Novartis, where she leads global Generative AI product initiatives, focusing on AI governance, product strategy, and end-to-end GenAI solution architecture. She drives the adoption of advanced AI technologies to build scalable, customer-centric solutions across global teams.
Previously at MetricStream, Chaitali led the Compliance Management product suite and spearheaded the creation of the first Generative AI–powered GRC portal. She played a pivotal role in implementing AI governance and risk frameworks, managing a global BFSI customer base, and driving initiatives that reduced churn while enhancing product impact.
At Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India, she served as a Senior Consultant and AI Architect, designing a game-changing AI platform for model and data sharing, developing deep learning–based Computer Vision and NLP solutions, and building an end-to-end vehicle-sharing platform. She also contributed to decentralized data marketplaces, AR/VR solutions, and multicloud containerized applications, translating innovative concepts into production-ready products.
Earlier in her career, Chaitali led mobile and web application development at Subex and Photon Infotech, delivering solutions for global clients including Royal Bank of Canada, Macy’s, and MuSigma.
